Challenge funds are available to qualifying nonprofit organizations in the Okaloosa Walton Continuum of Care to provide the housing, service, and program needs included in the CoC plan.
PLEAS READ PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A CHALLENGE REQUEST: Ensure client has a complete housing stability plan and designated case manager in HMIS. Follow-up case management is required for all Challenge-funded clients. HHA Challenge funding will not be available outside of extreme, emergent situations prior to the 15th of each month. Case Managers should contact other HHA Access Points for services and resources before submitting an emergency request to HHA and should only submit requests for the most vulnerable needs. Case Managers must also coordinate with the HHA Housing Navigator (Housing@hhalliance.org) for rapid re-housing services prior to submitting a request.
